Immerse yourself in the history of Hamburg during the Second World War and learn about the dark Nazi era. Learn more about the developments of the dark past and their impact on the progressive and cosmopolitan Hamburg of today.
The tour starts at 0830 hrs with pick-up at the location of your choice in the city centre of Hamburg. We then drive to the naval memorial in Laboe and visit the U995 deep-sea submarine from 1943. Anschließend reisen wir nach Neuengamme zur Besichtigung des dortigen Konzentrationslagers.
Back in Hamburg, we visit the ‘Memorial to the Children of Bullenhusener Damm’, the former General Command of the Wehrmacht, the headquarters of the GeStPo and some ‘Stumbling Stones’.
The tour will end with a visit to the ‘Operation Gomorrah’ exhibition in the St Nikolai Church memorial at around 1630 hrs.
This very interesting eight-hour tour costs 980 euros for a maximum of 4 people (each additional person 99 euros). The price also includes all tickets. Please note that the transfer time for this strenuous tour is around 3.5 hours.
